An heirloom variety in the same family as the Mortgage Lifter tomato, the German Johnson tomato produces large, meaty, pinkish-red fruits with yellow highlights on the shoulders, averaging 340 g to 675 g and containing few seeds. With low acidity, tomatoes are delicious in sandwiches and sauces. Good resistance to diseases. Indeterminate plant.
