Native to China, this watermelon radish produces round greenish roots that measure between 7.5 cm and 10 cm in diameter. Crunchy and juicy, it is appreciated for the pretty bright pink color of its flesh and because it is less pungent than common radishes. It is eaten in raw vegetables as well as in marinades. Good preservation of the roots without the leaves after harvesting.
