Radish – Black Spanish Round
Also known as Black round winter radish, this black winter radish has been cultivated for almost two centuries. It has a black skin and white flesh with long tops. The radish can be harvested as soon as it reaches the size of a quarter or wait until it reaches 8-10 cm in diameter at maturity. When harvested in the fall, they keep their freshness and crunchiness all winter long under good storage conditions such as buried in a damp sand box.
