Nasturtium Jewel Mix plants reach a height of about 30 cm and produce beautiful flowers of 5 cm in diameter in different colors (red, yellow and orange). The flowers, buds, leaves and stems are all edible, with a peppery taste reminiscent of watercress. Easy to grow in the ground or in pots, nasturtiums grow well in rather poor soil and do not require special care.

Conditions of germination:
depth of sowing: 1.5 cm
optimal temperatures of germination: 13 to 18 ºC
time for germination: 7 to 14 days
scarification (softening or piercing the skin of a seed with a nail file, sandpaper, or nail cutter), although optional, can facilitate germination
When to sow:
sow indoors 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost date in your area preferably in peat pots to facilitate transplanting OR
direct seeding after all danger of frost and when the soil has warmed up
