The Blue Vates variety of kale has beautiful chiseled blue-green leaves. When mature, the plants measure 40 cm in height and 50 cm in width; however, the leaves and stems can be eaten when they are younger, as they will be more tender. It is fast growing and has a good resistance to cold.
