Hot Pepper – Small Cherry Hot
This fiery round pepper, about 3 cm in diameter, also has the slight sweetness of a red bell pepper when it turns red when ripe. Popular for pickling, but also for processing into jelly or chutney. Its slightly flattened shape makes it ideal for stuffed appetizers and can be softened by removing the seeds and white membrane. It has a Scoville rating of ± 15,000 units.
WARNING: The seeds of the peppers are hot, so we recommend handling them with gloves.
