The Copenhagen Market cultivar originated in Denmark and was first recorded in the early 1900s. Round and uniform, this cabbage is 15 to 20 cm in diameter when ripe, and the heads are firm and compact and can weigh up to 2 kg. Delicate and slightly sweet taste. Soft green on the outside and light green on the inside. Protect from cabbage caterpillars with a floating cover.
